Ring Power is proud to be a Caterpillar Regional Dealer Learning Center (RDLC). Ring Power is one of four Electric Power Generation (EPG) RDLC’s within North America authorized to deliver a full suite of EPG courses to other Caterpillar dealers and their customers. Students enrolled in Caterpillar courses offered by a Regional Dealer Learning Center will be recognized in terms of completion in the same manner as if the student attended the factory training at a Caterpillar Learning Center.
A Regional Dealer Learning Center operates as an extension of Caterpillar’s Learning Center within the assigned District / Region of operation. Participating dealers are required by Caterpillar to evaluate their training aids, training facilities, and dealer instructors every 2 years to ensure they stay current with Caterpillar’s service training offerings. In addition to evaluations, Ring Power participates in annual Regional Dealer Learning Center conferences hosted by Caterpillar as a means to stay current with technology changes found within existing equipment and service practices.
Ring Power has two authorized Regional Dealer Learning Centers; St. Augustine and Tampa, that deliver a suite of Electric Power Generation courses and Tier IV Technology on power systems. With small class sizes, participants receive personalized learning and coaching that ensure the transfer of knowledge and skills during all training events. Our training centers in St. Augustine and Tampa have the engine, electrical, hydraulic, and computer labs needed to teach and maintain the highest-quality workforce.
Receive hands-on experience with Cat® engines and equipment, including the most advanced electro-hydraulic and electronically controlled engine systems. Classes in Safety, Leadership, Customer Service and other business skills are also part of the on-going training curriculum.
