Ring Power is proud to be a Caterpillar Regional Dealer Learning Center (RDLC). A Regional Dealer Learning Center operates as an extension of Caterpillar’s Learning Center within the assigned District / Region of operation. Participating dealers are required by Caterpillar to evaluate their training aids, training facilities, and dealer instructors every 2 years to ensure they stay current with Caterpillar’s service training offerings.
An operator or technical training program through Ring Power can help you reduce costs and meet your organizational goals. Through our training programs, your team members will learn how to maximize the performance of your equipment, reduce costly downtime, increase your ROI, improve safety in your workplace, and enhance operator performance.
Many courses are available online, with classroom, on-site, and combination options available. In addition to training with Cat® equipment, Ring Power also offers classroom and in-cab training for equipment from other manufacturers that we carry.

Trained operators work more efficiently and safely. Through our Customer Operator Training Programs, operators will learn how to safely and properly operate machines; reducing unnecessary wear and tear. Operator training is available for specific machines or for a range of equipment types. Below is a general list of operator training we provide.
CUSTOMER EQUIPMENT OPERATOR TRAINING - HEAVY EQUIPMENT | Operators will learn proper techniques for operating Cat® heavy equipment (excavators, dozers, wheel loaders, etc.) to be more productive and to reduce wear and tear on the machine and its equipment. Training for standard technologies will be covered when applicable. Please note that this training is only available for Ring Power customers.
CUSTOMER OPERATOR TRAINING - MOBILE ELEVATING WORK PLATFORMS (MEWPS) | Operators will learn how to properly operate Mobile Elevating Work Platforms, Access Platforms, Aerial Work Platforms, Scissor Lifts and Boom Lifts.
CUSTOMER OPERATOR TRAINING - FORKLIFT | Operators will learn how to properly operate all types of lift trucks. Clicking the link to the left will direct you to the Ring Power Lift Trucks website to sign up for forklift training.
Technician training is available for Ring Power customers of every skill level. We offer training on the fundamental systems on Cat® machines and engines as well as more advanced training to help you maintain your equipment. Classes are available for Electrical Systems, Diesel Engines, Powertrain Systems, Hydraulic Systems, Brake Systems, Air Conditioning Systems, and more.
